1948 BUICK SUPER CONVERTIBLE, HUGE
RESTORATION!
The previous owner of this beautiful 1948 Buick
convertible has spent the last 40 years restoring
the car. But after getting all restoration work done
and 95% of the assembly done he could not finish the
job so he sold the Buick.
The car is a dry and totally rust free Colorado car,
the title is from Trinidad, Colorado and it is from
1957! It has probably not been on the road since the
50’s.
EVERYTHING mechanically has been restored, the
straight 8 engine, transmission, brakes, front end,
suspension, the hydraulic system that runs the power
windows, power seat, power top, the water and fuel
pump, starter, generator, radiator, exhaust system
and on and on.
The conv top frame was rebuilt and the chrome bows
were rechromed. No conv top was installed so that
still needs to be done.
The small convertible back window with the chrome
frame is with the car.
New wiring harness front to back.
New triple plated show chrome.
New leather seats, new carpet, not installed yet.
5 new wide white wall tires.
The rust free body was repainted 10 years ago but
since the car has never been outside it still looks
like a new paint job.
TONS of money and time has been put into the Buick
and it is for sale either as it sits right now or
completely assembled and ready to drive.
